How to Make Lamb Kofta

1. Ingredients:
   • 500g ground lamb
   • 1 small onion, finely grated
   • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
   • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
   • 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
   • 1 tsp ground cumin
   • 1 tsp ground coriander
   • 1/2 tsp paprika
   • Salt and pepper to taste
   • Skewers (if grilling)
2. Prepare the Mixture:
   • In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, grated onion, minced garlic, parsley, mint, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
3. Shape the Koftas:
   • With wet hands, shape the mixture into oval or cylindrical meatballs, or mold them around skewers if using.
4. Chill:
   • Place the shaped koftas on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them hold their shape during cooking.
5. Cook the Koftas:
   • Preheat your grill or oven. If grilling, cook the koftas over medium heat for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through. If baking, place them on a baking sheet and bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20-25 minutes.
6. Serve:
   • Serve the lamb kofta hot with pita bread, fresh salads, and dips like tzatziki or humm
